Creasing/Scoring:
Creasing, or scoring as it is sometimes referred too, is a term used to describe the process of creasing a substrate, thus allowing the material to be folded. For heavier paper stocks, scoring and folding often go hand-in-hand, while paper stocks of a lighter basis weight can often be folded without a score.
